Everything you need, nothing you don’t

A complete invoicing toolkit built for speed. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.

LKR as primary currency

Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) is the default currency on every new invoice. Amounts are formatted correctly with the ₨ symbol. No configuration required — just open and invoice.

Switch to USD, EUR, GBP, AUD

Billing an international client? Switch the invoice currency from LKR to any of the supported currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD — with a single selection. Your other LKR invoices are unaffected.

WhatsApp sharing for local clients

Sri Lankan clients communicate on WhatsApp. The built-in WhatsApp share button sends your client a message with the invoice details and a direct link — exactly where they already are.

Tax rate support

Add a configurable tax rate to each invoice. The tax amount is calculated and shown as a separate line item in the totals — essential for businesses registered for VAT in Sri Lanka.

Frequently asked questions

What is LKR and why does it matter for invoicing?
LKR stands for Sri Lankan Rupee — the official currency of Sri Lanka. When invoicing local clients, using LKR ensures your invoice matches the currency your client pays in, avoids confusion, and is legally clear. Vibrant Tools defaults to LKR for all new invoices, making it the most natural choice for Sri Lankan freelancers and businesses.
Does the invoice show the ₨ (Rupee) symbol?
Yes. When you select LKR as the currency, all amounts on the invoice — line item totals, subtotal, tax, discount, and grand total — are prefixed with the ₨ symbol and formatted correctly. The PDF output displays the same formatting you see in the live preview.
Can I switch between LKR and USD on the same invoice?
Each invoice has a single currency selected for the whole document, which is standard invoicing practice. You cannot mix currencies within one invoice, but you can create separate invoices in different currencies. For example, bill your local client in LKR and your overseas client in USD — both are managed in the same dashboard.
Is this suitable for exporting services from Sri Lanka?
Yes. Many Sri Lankan professionals — developers, designers, and consultants — export services to international clients. Vibrant Tools supports USD, EUR, and GBP alongside LKR, making it easy to bill international clients professionally while managing your local LKR invoicing in the same tool.
Does it support Sri Lankan VAT (SVAT)?
The invoice generator includes a configurable tax rate field where you can enter any applicable VAT percentage. The tax amount is calculated automatically. However, Vibrant Tools does not provide tax advice and does not pre-configure SVAT or any specific Sri Lanka tax scheme. Consult your accountant or the Inland Revenue Department of Sri Lanka for your specific tax obligations.
