What is the difference between a quote and an invoice?
A quotation (or quote) is a document you send before work begins, detailing the proposed scope and pricing. It is not a request for payment. An invoice is issued after work is completed or at a billing milestone, and it is a formal request for payment. Vibrant Tools supports both, and you can convert an accepted quotation directly into an invoice.
Can I convert a quotation into an invoice?
Yes — this is one of the most useful features of Vibrant Tools. When a client accepts your quote, click "Convert to Invoice" from the dashboard. A new invoice is created with all the same line items, amounts, and client details pre-filled. You just set the due date and save.
How do I know if a client accepted my quote?
You can manually update the quote status from your dashboard: draft, sent, accepted, declined, or expired. When you convert a quote to an invoice, the original quote is automatically marked as accepted. Future versions of Vibrant Tools will include client-facing acceptance.
Can I send quotations via email?
Yes. Once your quotation is saved, you can send it directly to the client's email address. The email includes a PDF attachment and a link to view the quotation online. You can also share it via WhatsApp.
Is the quotation generator really free?
